Implementasi Alat Skrining Otomatis Berbasis Internet of Things Guna Meningkatkan Kenyamanan Jamaah Masjid Al Muhtadun Semarang

Abstract

The emergence of new clusters of the spread of Covid-19 through places of worship, makes people feel worried about doing worship. In addition to worship activities, the mosque also has other social activities such as community service and mutual cooperation. With these many activities, public awareness regarding the importance of health protocols is still low in the Covid-19 pandemic situation. Implementation of health protocols that are deemed inadequate, such as the absence of single-use prayer rugs, providing masks, the absence of adequate hand washing facilities and temperature measurements that still use thermo guns. From this fact, a tool is needed that can run automatically without involving officers and reduce interaction between worshipers in the mosque by applying automatic temperature measurements and automatic hand sanitizer without touching. The method used in the overall implementation of this program is by using extension or socialization techniques, namely the Learning By Sharing And Doing system. Counseling is carried out in a mixed manner (online and offline). This program of activities includes socializing the importance of health protocols in places of worship, education on automatic assembly and screening, education on making hand sanitizer refills, and education on mitigating damage to automatic screening tools. Partners in this activity are the administrators of the Al Muhtadun Mosque and the youth of the Al Muhtadun mosque.
